Patricia L. Ege, 84 of Sioux City, entered into heaven on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at a local nursing facility. A Memorial Service will be at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Pastor Scott Squires officiating. Pat was born on January 25, 1932 in Chatsworth, Iowa. Pat married John Ege on August 7, 1948 and resided in Sioux City. Her passion in life was her family and friends. She loved, cared and nurtured her kids and grandkids. Pat loved going to the kid’s baseball and softball games. She enjoyed card games with her girlfriends and loved her Friday nights with her best friends and family. Pat loved to dance and roller skate as a young lady.
Pat was preceded in death by her father Charles (Spike) Dalgliesh, her mother Dorothy (Charles) Dalgliesh, husband John N. Ege, and sister Marilyn Kober.
Pat is survived by her son John from Sioux City, son Ronald and his wife Stephanie of Winter Springs, FL, son Bruce of Sioux City, and daughter Cheryl Eves Ege of Branson, MO; sister Joann of Sioux City; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
