Neil Eugene Cleveland

Neil Eugene Cleveland, 82, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 with Rev. Roger Madden officiating at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. His family will be present one hour prior to service time Monday at the funeral home. Neil was born on March 12, 1934 to Marvin and Marie (Peck) Cleveland. He drove truck for 30 years for Rosenthal’s Trucking. He was united in marriage to Patricia Cobb on January 24, 1953 in Elk Point, SD.

Neil enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing music. He was a drummer for several different bands over the years.

He is survived by his wife Pat Cleveland; sons David Cleveland and Dennis (Kimberly) Cleveland all of Sioux City; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a brother Marlo Cleveland of Salton Sea, CA.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother Marie Mouw and her husband Hap Mouw, daughter Laurie Neilsen, brothers Murry Cleveland, Merlin Cleveland and a sister Myvis Copple.
