Roberta M. Lundquist

Roberta M. Lundquist, 66, of Sioux City passed away Saturday April 16, 2016 at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday April 21, 2016 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Neil Peck C. L. S. officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 4 till 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 till 8 p.m. and prayer service at 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Roberta M. Lundquist was born May 26, 1949 in Le Mars, Iowa the daughter of Leslie Henry and Eilene Jean (Beach) Sanow. Roberta was a home maker taking great care of her family.  She married Dennis Lundquist on July 27, 1970 in Elk Point South Dakota.  Roberta enjoyed crocheting, watching NASCAR, old country music, collecting nic-nacks, flowers and gardening.  Her greatest joy came with spending time with her family and taking care of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Roberta is survived by her husband Dennis Lundquist of Sioux City, Three sons; Bo Lundquist and his wife Danies of Sioux City, Danny Lundquist and his wife Tina of Sioux City and Ricky Lundquist and his wife Jamie of Sioux City. One daughter; Melisssa Wooldridge and her husband Jeff of Sioux City. One brother; James Sanow and his wife Becky of Cherokee, Iowa.  Four sisters; Joann Bruscher and her husband Kenneth of Le Mars, Iowa, Barb Nicks and her husband Keith of Le Mars, Iowa, Connie Lalk and her husband Rich of Le Mars, Iowa, and Tracy Lalk and her husband Will of Le Mars, Iowa.  23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Pete Sanow, two sisters; Susan Nicks, BonnieVanderwide and one infant twin daughter.
