Jerri Lynn Anderson, 59 of Sioux City passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at a Sioux City hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Rev. Tim Paul will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Anthon. Jerri was born November 17, 1956 in Ida Grove, IA; she was the daughter of Homer and Arliss (Walters) Anderson. Jerri grew up in Anthon, IA and graduated from Anthon-Oto High School in 1975 and then completed a key punch course at WIT. Jerri worked for St. Vincent Hospital before her retirement due to health reasons.
Jerri had been a member of the Morningside Church of Christ and was presently a member of the Tri-State Christian Church in South Sioux City. She enjoyed doing crafts especially counted cross stitch and embroidery. She did a letter writing and card writing ministry that encouraged people and she was a prayer warrior.
Survivors include her brother and sisters: Roger Anderson (Kathleen) of Colorado Springs, Co, Cynthia Owen (Stephen) of Anthon, IA, Nancy Mitchell (Richard) of Sioux City. Jerri is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jerri was preceded in death by her parents.
