Dakari D'mir Sneed

SIOUX CITY | Dakari D’mir Sneed, 8-month-old son of Cavaris Sneed and Alysses Fields of Sioux City, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Life in Christ, C.O.G.I.C., 2929 W. Fourth St., with Pastor James D. Mosley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Dakari was born July 6, 2015, in Sioux City.
Survivors include his parents, Cavaris Sneed and Alysses Fields; sisters, Aa’niyah Sneed and Brynnly Ericsson; brothers, Cavaris Sneed Jr. and Elijah Sneed; maternal grandparents, Beatrice Fields and Darrell Hall of Sioux City; paternal grandfather, Thomas Smith of Chicago, Ill.; aunts and uncles, Cordia Hall, Alicia Fields, Darneisha Hall, Joanna Hall, Lavaeh Hall, Daveon Hall, Damarion Hall, Joshua Fields, Darrell Hall Jr., Kylicia Fields, Caidance Thomas, Bridgette Sneed, Cameron Sneed, Dionaris Scott, Anglea Thomas, Deonna Crawford and Myranda Hogan; and a host of others.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmothers, Fleeta Fields, Bridgett Marie Taylor and Vivian Raiford; and maternal great-grandfather, Ulysses Haley.
Pallbearers will be Chance Crawford and Darrell Hall.
