Barbara Boucher, 48, of Hinton, Iowa left her earthly home on Saturday, March 18, 2016 at a Sioux City hospital following a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.
Visitation will be Monday March 21, 2016 from 4 till 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 till 8 p.m. and Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Burial will take place in Dakota City Cemetery.
Barbara was born October 22, 1967 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Ed and Mary Jean (Wiseman) Trudell. She attended South Sioux City Community Schools and Western Iowa Tech College where she received various health care certificates. she was employed as a Radiology Tech with the Bac Clinic in Sioux City, before retiring in 2013 because of health reasons.
She married James Boucher on September 18, 2013 in Le Mars, Iowa.
In her free time, she loved spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens, mowing the lawn and collecting small nick-knacks. Barbara attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Barbara is survived by her husband James Boucher of Hinton, Iowa. Three sons; Ryan Vondrak of Hinton, Greg Boucher of Sioux City and Joseph Boucher of Hinton. Two daughters; Stephanie Vondrak of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Jennifer Vondrak of Sioux City. One grandson Apollo Boucher. Three brothers; Rex Barto, Ron Barto and Don Madison along with several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brother Patrick Barclay.
