Sandra Ann Davis

Sandra Ann Davis, 52 of Richardson Texas, and formerly of Sioux City passed away Wednesday March 9th, 2016, in Richardson, TX.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Sandy was born September 22, 1963, in Fort Hood, Texas the daughter of Ronald and Kathleen (Treft) Fischer.  

Sandy was known for her kindness to everyone. She was always willing to lend an ear or offer to help when needed. She was a private person, however, she didn’t let that get in the way if a friend needed support or letting others in to support her. Sandy’s passion was crafting. She loved to scrapbook and document her life and the joy she had when she was with her friends and family. Sandy had friends around the world that she crafted with and she really came to life when she was in that world. One of her other passions was gardening. She absolutely loved the flowers. She loved being in Texas where the flowers bloomed year round. I think being around all the colorful flowers just brought her peace.

What truly brought her joy though was spending time with her grandsons. No matter what she was going through they made everything better.   Family always meant a lot to Sandy.

Survivors include her husband Steve Davis, her daughter Samantha Kass and husband Jeremy Heck, her son Dusty Kass and their father Merlin Kass: her step daughters, Sara, Jessica, Ashley and Amber Davis; her 3 grandsons, Kyler and Kaden Heck and Scott Herman; her mother Kathleen Fischer, her sister Susan Murray and husband CJ and her sister Cindy Lafferty and her partner David Pritchard; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Fischer, who passed on October 22, 1984.
