Donald DeWall

Donald F. DeWall, age 67, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016, in Sioux City, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm. on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with visitation starting at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Don, son of Frank and Ruth (Eggink) DeWall, was born December 15, 1948, in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in Sioux City, but lived most of his adult life in Minnesota. He attended the University of Northwestern-St. Paul and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He retired from American Airlines as a Ramp Operations Supervisor.

Don was a loving father, loyal friend, avid movie-goer, and history buff. He enjoyed sports, reading, doing crossword puzzles, eating out, sharing his Christian faith, and much more.

He is survived by his loving children: Kevin DeWall and Lisa DeWall (fiancé Matt Milbrett); step-mother Betty DeWall; sisters Dottie (Dan) Coppock and Debbie (Rick) Krome; brother Denny DeWall; half-sister Laura (Brad) Wood; half-brother Marc DeWall; and former wife Jan (Hietala) DeWall. He was preceded in death by his parents.
