Betty J. Bobier

Betty J. Bobier, 86 of Sioux City passed away February 29, 2016 at a nursing home in Whiting Iowa.

Funeral Services will be Friday March 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.   Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery at a Later Date.  

Betty Bobier was born December 7, 1929 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Raymond and Ina (Cook) Blair.   She attended Sioux City Community Schools.  Mrs. Bobier was employed with Zenith Corporation for 15 years and IBP for 20 years before her retirement in 1992.

Betty enjoyed reading, movies, and traveling especially to Omaha Zoo. She loved holidays, especially Christmas preparing grand meals with her famous Rum Cake. Her greatest joy was spending time with grandchildren/great grandchildren.

She was a Member of St, Boniface Catholic Church where she helped with church lunches and bake sales

Betty is survived by her daughter Janie Henshaw and husband Kim of Sioux City; Two brothers Pearl Blair of Las Vegas, NV and Frank (Josephine) Blair of Sioux City; Two sisters Myrtle (Mibs) Prickett of San Diego, CA Shirley Blair of Thousand Oaks, CA; Sister in law Ramona Blair of Sioux City; Three grandchildren James (Kristi Uhl) Crilly, Majessa ( Terrence) Hardgraves and Vanessa Crilly all of Sioux City; Eight great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was proceed in death by her parents, four brothers Clair, John, Ray and Victor Blair and one sister Opal Blaire.
