Romesh Kumar Bahri, 71, of Dakota Dunes passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at a local hospital.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with Cremation of follow.
Romesh was born March 1, 1944 in India, the son of Kirpa Bahri and Sushila Devi Bahri.
He was a professor of Electronics Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology (BITS) in Pilani, India before migrating to the United States. Romesh was an Engineering Manager at Zenith Electronics Corporation in Michigan and at Gateway Computer Company in South Dakota. While living in Dakota Dunes for 20 plus years, Romesh made a large circle of friends from all walks of life.
Romesh is survived by his wife Veena R. Bahri; son: Amitabh Bahri; daughters: Jyotika (Sunil) Jerath and Karen Bahri; two grandchildren; one brother and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
