Susan E. Kenyon

SIOUX CITY | Suzanna E. “Susan” Kenyon, 52, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016  at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Visitation with the family present will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Per Susan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Condolences may be sent online at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Susan was born April 21, 1963 in Fort Bennings, Georgia the daughter of Francis Kenyon and Kathleen Schultz Kenyon. As a young girl, she mostly grew up on farms. Susan and her family moved frequently as her father was in the Army.

She worked as a mortgage loan processor in Georgia and Florida. Susan moved to Sioux City in 2008. For the past 10 years she has been a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and creating crafts. Most of all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include 4 sons, Bryan Decelle, Kaleb Kenyon, Bobby (Stacy) Schonrock and Dennis (Susie) Decelle all of Sioux City; a brother, Doug (Sandra) Kenyon of Calif.; 2 sisters, Lynda (Thomas) Jewell of Virginia and Karla Snow of Georgia; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
