Trent James Lechleidner

SIOUX CITY | Trent James Lechleidner, 26, of Sioux City, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Trent was born April 24, 1989, in Sioux City, the son of Carl “Jim” and Kathleen L. (Paul) Lechleidner. He graduated from West High School in 2007.            

Trent was a creative artist who loved animals and enjoyed fishing and bike riding. He will also be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and grandson.

Survivors include his mother, Kathy Paul and engaged to David W. Shores of Sioux City; his father, Jim Lechleidner and fiancée, Lolita Scism of Sioux City; three sisters, Felicia (Alonso) Zermeno of Orchard, Neb., Katrina Lechleidner (Antonio Medina) of Sioux City, and Andria (Sergio) Perez or Orchard, Neb.; eight nieces and five nephews; maternal grandparents, Robert and Gertrude Paul of Sioux City; and paternal grandparents, Denny and Jane Simons of Burbank, S.D.
