Kevin Golden

Kevin Golden, age 56, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at a local hospital. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his death. Funeral service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 21, 2015, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, where visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and the family will be present from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Kevin Keith, son of Paul and Eileen (Hoefling) Golden, was born January 19, 1959, in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in Sioux City and attended school at Floyd, North Junior High and North Senior High. He worked various jobs before settling in at Sioux City Engineering for the last 20 years. On January 10, 2009, Kevin was united in marriage with Kelly West in Sioux City.

Kevin enjoyed river life, the outdoors, boating, camping, riding motorcycle, and watching football. He loved having fun and spending time with his dog Harley.

Kevin is survived by his wife Kelly Golden of Sioux City; two stepdaughters: Ashley Jones and Kelsey Banks; 11 grandchildren: Keith, Faith, Evan, Emercyn, Hudson, Serenity, Brody, Victoria, Maylia, Makaveli, and Roderick Jr.; a sister Karen Mercer and husband John of Moville; and many nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Venesha Golden, a brother Kenneth Golden and both sets of grandparents.
