Bonnie Faye Cole, age 87, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at a local nursing home.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the Salvation Army Chapel, with Major Von Vandiver, officiating. Visitation will be before services from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Salvation Army Chapel.
Bonnie Faye, daughter of Benton and Dorothy (Mathews) Lewis, was born June 4, 1928, in Sioux City, Iowa. She grew up in Sioux City.
Bonnie enjoyed crocheting and sewing. On July 28, 1945, Bonnie was united in marriage with John Herb Cole in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Six children were born to this union.
Bonnie worked at Johnson Biscuit and retired from Interbake Foods.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters: Beverly Schumacher of Omaha, NE; Carol Irvine and husband Allan of St. Louis, MO; three sons: John Cole of South Sioux City, NE; Terry Cole of Sioux City; and Gary Cole and wife Vickie of Mitchell, SD; five brothers: Elroy Lewis, Jimmy Lewis, Mike Lewis and Randy Lewis, all of California and Ronnie Lewis of Taiwan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Diane and 2 sisters.
