SIOUX CITY, IA | Marguerite Vondrak, 95, of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at Holy Spirit Retirement Home.   Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5th at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday with the family present 6-8 p.m., a rosary at 4 p.m. by Catholic Daughters of The Americas and a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Marguerite was born Sept. 27, 1920 in rural Akron, IA the daughter of Joseph N. “Nap” and Mary E. “Edna” (Dalgliesh) Lamoureux. On Apr. 10, 1940 she married Francis P. Vondrak in Sioux City. Together they raised 6 children while they farmed near Hinton, IA. They moved to Sioux City in 1965. Francis died Jan. 18, 2009.   Marguerite was a longtime active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of The Americas and the Carmelite Guild. She also belong to the Hinton Social Club.   Survivors include 2 sons, Darrell Vondrak and Lynn Vondrak both of Sioux City; a daughter and her husband, Jolene “Jody” and Greg Siedelmann of Omaha, NE; 3 daughters-in-law, Judi Vondrak of Galva, IA, Sue Vondrak of Le Mars, IA and Iveta Kerber of Emmetsburg, IA; 3 sisters, Janice Vondrak of Petaluma, CA, Luene Petersen of Le Mars, IA and Beverly Bytnar of Columbia, SC; 12 grandchildren, Jeff Vondrak, Steve Vondrak, Kerry Knudsen, Ronnette Vondrak, David Vondrak, Doug Vondrak, Michael Vondrak, Sarah Kahler, Tony Vondrak, Alison Benson, Meghan Freeze and Nora Gaudet; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sons, Arley, Ron and Larry, daughter-in-law, Jane Vondrak, sister, Donna Rae and 4 brothers, Royal, Wayne, Richard and Patrick Lamoureux.   Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be all of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in care of the family.
