Sandra C. Casey, 77 of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at a Sioux City hospital after a lengthy illness.
Sandy will be cremated and there will be a memorial service at 7:00 P.M. Friday, November 27, 2105 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd., Sioux City. Rev. Jerome Cosgrove will officiate. Online condolences may be sent to

Sandy was born November 23, 1938 in Sioux City; she was the daughter of James and Phyllis (Norton) Everingham. Sandra graduated from Heelan High School in 1956. She married Ray Casey October 1, 1960 at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City and to this union 5 children were born. Ray and Sandy celebrated 55 years of marriage on October 1, 2015.
Sandy’s greatest joy was raising a family and spending time with them and her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her unending love, generosity, witty personality and strong faith in God.
Survivors include her husband Ray of South Sioux City; 5 children: Patricia Dodge (Tyler) of Quechee, VT and their daughters Kelsey and Kaitlyn, Mark Casey of South Sioux City and his sons Tom and Matt, Suzie Heier (Tod) of Columbus, NE and their sons Casey and Connor, Jim Casey of Seattle, WA, Jennifer Hughes (Ryan) and their daughters Lily and Ava; her brother: James Everingham of Beverly Hills, FL; 2 sisters: Patricia Everingham of Sioux City and Mary Jo Everingham of Denver, CO.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Thomas Everingham.
