Cheryl Lea Klemke

November 1, 1958 — November 9, 2015

Cheryl Lea Klemke was passed into the hands of the Lord by her loving family on Monday, November 9, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 13, 2015 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jason Jackson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 P.M. with the family present from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Cheryl was born on November 1, 1958 in Sioux City, the daughter of Elwood "Bus" and Lorraine (Schiferl) Oakley. Cheryl attended Sioux City Community Schools and though she had various jobs, the most important job to her was loving and caring for her beloved children and grandchildren. Cheryl is survived by her husband Rod Klemke of Sioux City; Brother Ed Oakley and wife Mary of Sioux City; Sister Peggy Dreckman of Hawarden, IA; sister Denise Fick and her husband Perry of Lake Park, IA; Son Jon Krana and wife Toni of Davenport, IA and their children Alec Tumblinson, Gabe and Caden Krana, and Kirsten and Katie Winkel; Daughter Amber Krana of Sioux City and her daughters Heaven and Sky Silvas and Spirit Krana; Son Colt Krana and fiancé Shelley Ramsey of Davenport, IA and their children Jade, Axel, and Axton Krana and Amyra and Avery Andino; Son Ian Klemke and his daughter Kiera of Sioux City; Daughter Tara Felton and fiancé Chris Engel of West Palm Beach, FL and their children Eli and Ella Engel. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Gary Oakley, the father of her first born son Jon McManigal, and a brother in law Kenneth Dreckman. The family would like to thank all of our wonderful friends and Hospice of Siouxland for all of their help during this difficult time.
