Frances A (Zediker) Johnson, 86, died peacefully on September 25th at Countryside Rehab Center after a short illness. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Fran, born July 23, 1929, in Sioux City to Dora and Frank Kutil, was a 1947 Central High School graduate. She had attended the all-school reunion earlier this month. Throughout her life, Fran worked diligently to support her four daughters as a single mom. Her superlative ethics, integrity, honesty and generosity were admired by both family and the many friends she acquired over the years. An avid reader, Fran also enjoyed watching football, baseball and golf and was very adept at working jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Doris, Jean and Shirlee. Survivors include her four daughters Penny Crosmer (Bill) of Sioux City, Pam Hughes (Jim) of Grand Junction, CO, Paula Rosenboom of LeMars and Pandora Dahle of Mission, KS, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Sioux City Library, members of whom were so caring in the delivery of Fran's extensive reading materials.
