The youngest of three children: her sisters Gloria and Anita have always referred to her as their baby sister. Cathy grew up in rural Mapleton, IL. at a time when neighborhood children created their own fun. Her early education was at the two room, Wheeler Country School moving on to graduate from Timber Township High School in Glasford, IL. where she was an honor student, Cheerleader, and held various class offices. After graduation Cathy began her work career as a secretary with Central Illinois Light Co. in Peoria, IL. Cathy was a fan of most all sports especially enjoying the performances of Michael Jordon and Tiger Woods. A lover of all animals large and small, she was especially fond of her kitty cats Claudia & Little Mommy. Claudia remained faithfully by her side during her final days.
