Cecil David St. Peter, 79 went to heaven on August 3, 2015 at Holy Spirit Retirement Home, Sioux City Iowa. Services will be 2 pm Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with his daughters, Rev. Susan Bales and Rev. Kathie Boyce officiating. One hour before the service, the family will be present for visitation. Burial will be at Arlington Township cemetery Moville, Iowa following the service. David was born September 13th, 1935 in Moville, Iowa to Cecil and Elsie (Dockweiler) St. Peter. After graduating from Climbing Hill High School in 1953 he worked for several years for Swifts Packing Plant. David married Mary Elizabeth Schultz, June 4th, 1956, in South Sioux City Nebraska. David and Mary had two daughters, Susan Lynn and Kathe Lynn. Later in life, David returned to the family farm in Moville, where he farmed until his retirement. He then moved to Muscatine, Iowa to live with Susan and her family and was a member of First Assembly of God church. David was known for his willingness to help others. He loved fishing, WWF, Westerns, playing checkers and chess. He had a big heart and was a hard worker and had many friends. Survivors include his daughters Reverend Susan (Reverend Michael) Bales of Muscatine, Iowa and Reverend Kathie (Reverend Martin) Boyce, Grand Junction, CO. His brother John (Evelyn) St Peter and his sister in law Marjorie St Peter of Lindsborg Kansas, his sister Mary (Jim) McClintock, all of Sioux City, Iowa. David had 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He loved his family, David was preceded in death by his parents, and infant sister Leana May, and older brother Harry St. Peter.
