Mark R. Osburn, 50 of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Friday, July 24, 2015 at his home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday all at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Mark was born October 4, 1964 in Sioux City; he was the son of Rodney and Bonnie (Blom) Osburn. Mark grew up in Sioux City and attended Crescent Park Elementary and Blessed Sacrament Grade School. He graduated from Heelan High School in 1983. Mark married Kelly Desy August 4, 1990 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. Mark began his career with HyVee at the age of 16 and he was currently serving as seafood manager at the HyVee on Hamilton Blvd. Mark was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He loved attending his sons sporting events and driving his Ford Mustang, Jozy. He took great pride in taking care of his yard and his parent's yard. He enjoyed classic and antique cars. Mark loved his job at HyVee, he was known as the "grill master" and enjoyed grilling out, spending time with his dog Bentley and his grand dogs, Zoey and Dexter and following Heelan High School Football and Nebraska Football. Survivors include his wife Kelly; 2 sons: Cody Osburn (Sydney) and Nolan Osburn; his mother: Bonnie Osburn; sister: Cathy Fox (Rick); mother in law: Marilynn Desy; brother in law: John Streeter all of Sioux City. Mark is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Rodney; sister, Carol Streeter; and his grandparents.
