Ryan Nguyen, age 39, of Yankton, South Dakota, died on Sunday, July 12, 2015, as the result of an automobile accident near Yankton, South Dakota. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Thursday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Ryan, son of Tha and Huong Nguyen, was born January 17, 1976, at Hue City, Vietnam. He grew up in Vietnam and moved to Sioux City, Iowa when he was 17. He graduated from Heelan High School and owned his own nail salon in Yankton. Ryan was also the Head Choir Director for Vietnamese Mass at Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City. He will always be remembered as a happy person and was a caregiver with much love and passion. Ryan is survived by his wife Vivian Nguyen of Sioux City; two daughters: Sephora and Selena; siblings: Tuan, Kim, Tien, Duy and Thanh; and his stepmom Chin Phan.
