Bill Henry, 76 of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at a Sioux City hospital after a lengthy illness. Bill will be cremated and there will be no public services. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Bill was born February 11, 1939 in Kansas City, MO; he was the son of Albert John and Mable (French) Henry. Bill grew up and attended schools in Kansas City. He served in the U.S. Marine and U.S. Air Force. Bill married Joann Cline May 30, 1977 in Sioux City. While Bill lived in Kansas City he owned his own roofing company. After Bill came to Sioux City he worked for Interbake Foods, Sioux Tools, Kmart for 25 years and then Walmart for 5 years. Bill enjoyed reading books. Survivors include his wife Joann of Sioux City; 2 daughters: Rhonda Gunsolly (Tony), Candy Merryman (Charlie) all of Sioux City; 2 sisters: Louise Wilham of Kansas City, MO, Patricia Clark (Mel) of Butler, MO; his mother in law: Viola Cline of Sioux City; brothers in law: Norman Cline (Pat) of Sioux City, Melvin Cline (Dorothy) of Sioux City, Jim Cline (Judy) of Lacy, WA, David Cline (Lisa) of Sioux City, Donald Cline (Julie) of Hawarden, IA; sister in law: Janice Purk (Dan) of Tama, IA; 8 grandchildren: Tiffany, Timmy, Troy, Dusty, Lacey, Brittany, Paul and Dakota; 8 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: John and Babe and a step daughter Jean Risner.
