Hope Fox, age 91, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Westwood Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Glendale Baptist Church in Sioux City. Interment will follow at Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, where Hope's family will be present from 6 PM to 8 PM, and a prayer service will be held at 7 PM. Online condolences may be left at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Hope Mae, daughter of Ernest and Lulu (MacGregor) Breazeale, was born August 2, 1923, in Belden, Nebraska. In February of 1947, she was united in marriage with Glen Fox in Yankton, South Dakota. The family made their home in Sioux City where Hope worked at the candy counter in Younkers for almost 20 years. Hope was a member of Glendale Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She also taught Sunday school and was a member of the choir for many years. Hope is survived by: her son Warren (Judy) Fox of Tooele, Utah; two daughters Carol Tschakert of Kent, Minnesota and Alison (Dick) Harper of Sioux City, Iowa; a grandson Seth Harper of Sioux City; two step-grandsons Casey and Curtis Harper; and a longtime special friend Tony Drake and her neighbor and friend Kevin Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Burch Breazeale. A special thanks to her daughter Alison for being her longtime caregiver. They had a special bond that will last through the ages. Also a special thank you to Hospice of Siouxland for their service and dedication to Hope.
