Pauline Lauretta La Croix Murray Heilman, 89, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at her home in Salix, Iowa Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix, Iowa with Father Patrick O'Kane officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Following the burial a celebration of life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, June 26 with the family present and a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Pauline was born March 20, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Napoleon R La Croix and Georgette (Lamoureaux) La Croix Murray. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Sioux City and St. Vincent Nursing School as an L.P.N. She married Francis B. Heilman on June 12, 1945 He preceded her in death March 12, 2012 in Sioux City Iowa. Survivors include; her children, Mary Rutherford, Kate Speck, Marcia (Les) Snow, Tim (Jeanne), Roger, Steve, Barbara (Richard) Parker, and Lou Cortner, 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, sons, George and David, and precious daughter Helen and granddaughter, Megan Cortner, Siblings Vincent, Ronald, James, Donald, Mervin, Robert and Precilla.
