Fred Davis, III., 41, of Sioux City passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at a Sioux City Hospital from complications from a heart condition. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. David Heman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Military Honors will be presented by the US Marines Corps will follow the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. After graduation he enlisted in the US Marines Corps and served his country till 1997. He was employed as a Millwright at Weitz. Fred enjoyed spending his free time in the outdoors hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter Alexandra Davis; son Dillon Davis; son Ian Bigler; daughter Samantha Zummo all of Lawton, IA and daughter Carrissa Davis; grandson Jaxson Bigler; parents Fred and Jeannette Davis, Jr. of Sioux City; sister Nancy (Anthony) Calamanco of Sioux City; and brother Brian Davis of Sioux City.
