Jason Olson

Jason Olson, age 40, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2015, follow a period of declining health. Funeral services will be 7 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Jason's family will be present to greet friends after 5 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Jason Olson, son of John and Linda (Olson) Meyers, was born January 26, 1975, at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa. At the age of four, Jason was adopted by Gloria and Larry Olson of Hancock, Iowa. Jason graduated from AvoHa/Shelby-Tennant High School in 1993. He held numerous jobs in the fields of construction, car repair, and roofing. Jason is survived by his mother Linda (Steve) Dallen of Sioux City; his adoptive father Larry Olson of Oakland; a sister Christine Holtzen of Sioux City; two brothers Brian Dallen and John (Heather) Dallen, all of Sioux City; his adopted sisters: Vicki Austin of Auburn, Maine and Cindy Carrington of Atlantic, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father John Meyers and adopted mother Gloria Olson.
