Wayne L. Will, 87 of Sioux City passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness. There will be a memorial service at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Daniel Rupp will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church. Wayne was born July 19, 1927 in Sioux City; he was the son of Walter and Marian (McClary) Will. Wayne grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School in 1945. He served in the U.S. Navy and then returned to Sioux City and was employed at Hess-Mallory Company for a few years. He married Gertrude Nagy on May 30, 1950 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sioux City. Wayne worked for Old Home Metz Bakery for 16 years and then he served as Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer of the Teamsters Union Local # 383 retiring at the age of 58. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and enjoyed golfing. Wayne is survived by his wife Gertrude of Sioux City; 3 children: Steven Will and his wife Joan of Lakeland, FL, David Will and his wife Vicki of Sioux City, Mary Jane Will of Sioux City; a sister: JoAnn Pearson and her husband Larry of Alcester, SD; a granddaughter Michael Bruhaun and her husband Michael, 2 grandsons: Matthew and Eric Will. Wayne is also survived by a great grandson. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Doris Frank.
