Leona "Faye" Saul Davis, 75, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Paul's Indian Mission. Visitation will be held from Wednesday evening until service time on Friday with a Prayer Service at 7:00 Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Faye was born October 19, 1939 in Bloomfield, Nebraska the daughter of Harry K. and Mary L. (Campbell) Saul. She grew up in Hobo Creek and arrived in Sioux City in 1942. She married Fred E. Davis Sr. and to this union five children were born. Faye worked at various businesses including Tri-State, Swifts, Cusack's, Zenith, No Place, and Dad's Place, but most of all she was a homemaker taking care of her family and grandchildren. Faye was an avid bingo player and even had her own seating at Ike's. She enjoyed making star quilts, shawls, and throws, but her greatest love with spending time with her family. Faye is survived by her children: Lily (Wayne) Medina, Fred E. Davis Jr., Bonnie L. Davis, Mary L. Davis, and Vanetta L. Davis all of Sioux City; Grandchildren and Nephews she raised as her children: Lina Crow, Kelly Davis, Paul Davis, David Saul, and Michael Saul; Stepchildren: Donna Rae, Lynn Claire, Richard, Dennis, and Debbie; Brother John "Percy" BigEagle; Grandchildren: Brandon Medina, Alicia Medina, Lina Crow, Raleigh Davis, David Davis, Laiocea Davis, Kelly Davis, Paul Davis, Amanda Schramm, Ashley Flaugh, Amber Flaugh, and Tatum Davis; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lena Mae Davis, sisters: Joyce Saul, Bonnie Saul, Maxine Wabasha, and Delma Saul, brothers Glen Saul, Joseph Saul, and Jerry Saul, granddaughter Jessica Rose Flaugh, and grandsons Oliver Samuel Medina and Dennis Aaron Franke.
