Kevin F. James, 43, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at a Sioux City Hospital. Per his wishes he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 with Rev. Jan Christensen officiating at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. A visitation will be on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. He started working for Jebro Inc. in 1993 and was currently working as a Terminal Manager there. He was married to Therese Ohm on April 2, 2005 in Las Vegas, NV. He loved riding his Harley Mortorcycle, camping, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered as a great father and an ornery husband. He was a member Abate Motorcycle Club and a member of B.Y.O.B. Kevin was very proud to be an eye donor being able to give the gift of sight to someone else. He is survived by his wife Therese James of Sioux City; daughter Kyra Jo James of Sioux City; father Steve James of Kansas; step father Troy Allen of Onawa, IA; brother Kelly James and significant other Mandy of Sioux City; mother-in-law Cheryl (John) Risty of LeMars, IA; father-in-law James (Christine) Ohm of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law Lindsay Ohm of Beresford, SD; brother-in-laws Keaton Kimble of LeMars, IA; Taylor Ohm of Las Vegas, NV; and J.D. Loper of Lubbock, TX; many Aunts and Uncles; 3 nieces and 10 nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother and his sister Kari James.
