Gary G. Gagnon, 56 of Sioux City, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at a local hospital. Abiding by family wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.meyerbroschapels.com Gary was born on November 26, 1958 in Sioux City to Frederick A. and Agnes L. (Brooks) Gagnon. Following his high school education, Gary attended Art School in Colorado. He had lived in various locations, including Colorado, Texas, and recently relocated back to Sioux City. Gary was an over-the-road truck driver, and saw this beautiful country by way of blacktop, stone, and gravel roads. When health issues forced his early retirement, Gary went back to learning by studying different languages, sciences, and math by using his computer. He was extremely creative and artistic and had a knack for cactus and succulent plants, and ability to grow from seeds, various different plants. Gary is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Chanh) Nguyen of San Diego, CA and her children Adeline, Owen, Eli, and Moses; daughter Jessica (Lance) Brown of Sanborn, IA and her children Cadence, Avari, Logan, and Mikah; daughter Kayla (Mike) Michaels of Virginia Beach, VA; brother Frederick "Tony" (Renee) Gagnon of Sioux City, IA; sisters Judy (Kenny) Hinds of Sioux City, IA, Lois Barnes of Primghar, IA, Renee Gagnon of Allen, TX, Tonya (Ed) LeClair of Mansfield, TX, and Heather (Russell) Rollins of Emory, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alvin L. Gagnon, brother Harold P. Gagnon, and sister Ruth Y. Hoefling
