Jean G Bretzel

Jean G. Bretzel, 96 of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at a Sioux City hospital. Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Jean was born March 31, 1918 in Ireton, IA; she was the daughter of Christian and Lena (Lohr) Garretson. Jean came to Sioux City as a child and attended Franklin Elementary School and graduated from Central High School. She married Leonard Bretzel May 12, 1945 in Sioux City, he died January 7, 2008. Jean was a secretary for various businesses in Sioux City. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and she was very artistic. Jean is survived by several nieces and nephews.
