Lisa Dawn Nemer

Lisa Dawn Nemer, 51, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Sioux City leaving her many beloved family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Thomas Antiochian Christian Orthodox Church, 1100 Jones St, Sioux City. Visitation and Trisagion services will be held Friday evening March 20 from 6-8pm at Meyers Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City. Lisa was born August 4, 1963 in Gregory, SD the daughter of Dr. Donald and Lorraine (Yanney) Nemer. She grew up in Gregory, SD and returned years later to work and reside after graduating with a BA Psychology and Social Sciences from Arizona State University. Lisa is survived by her parents, Dr. Donald and Lorraine (Yanney) Nemer of Gregory, SD and Scottsdale, AZ; sister Roxi Nemer Adams (Jay) of Omaha, NE, brother Donald II (Kelli) Nemer of Baltimore, MD and nieces and nephews Aaron, Quinn, Arianna, Elise Adams and Emanuel and Alexandra Nemer. She leaves aunts, uncles, and cousins including special cousin Charese Yanney of Sioux City. Lisa was preceded in death by grandparents Mose and Wadia Yanney and Eli and Eva Nemer, Jan Genetti (aunt), James and Do Yanney (uncle and aunt) and Bill Pape (uncle) and cousins Chris Yanney and Steven David. Additional services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 23rd, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gregory, SD. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Gregory, SD. Memorials directed to Gregory County Hope Society and St. Thomas Antiochian Christian Orthodox Church.
