SIOUX CITY | Rhonda L. Kramer, 58, of Sioux City died Sunday after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, Mar. 20, 2015 at Morningside Lutheran Church with Rev. Darrin Vick officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday with the family present 6-8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Rhonda was born Oct. 9, 1956 in Sioux City the daughter of Gary and Sue (Jebsen) Kroll. She grew up in Sioux City, graduated from East High School, and was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church. Rhonda married Ray Ruhrer and to that union, Nicki and Desiree were born. She later married Barry Kramer and to that union, Bailey was born. Rhonda was employed by Southern Hill HyVee for 25 years. Prior to that her employment included Sunshine Grocery Store, Sneaky's, Taylor's Tap and Red Lobster. Rhonda loved to cook, especially Sunday dinners, where she'd prepare enough food to feed an army. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her granddaughters. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, puzzles, and watching a few of her favorite shows. Her kind and generous spirit impacted all those she knew. Her big heart was only exceeded by her willingness to offer a hand in need. She is survived by 3 daughters, Nicki Ruhrer-Johnson (Mitch), Desiree Ruhrer and Bailey Kramer all of Sioux City; her parents Gary and Sue Kroll of Sioux City; 3 sisters, Connie DeRocher (Richard) of Sioux City, Linda Williams (Tye) of Sgt. Bluff, IA and Brenda Iwen of Sioux City; her significant other, Barry Kramer; granddaughters, Ella and Annie Ruhrer-Johnson and nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve McCain, Jeremy Holbrock, Dave McGill, John Fox and Mitch Johnson. Casual Dress is encouraged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Noah's Hope.
