Mary Lou Loutsch

Mary L. Loutsch, 75 of Sioux City, passed away peacefully at Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. A private family service will be held before cremation takes place. Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com Mary was born on March 11, 1939 in Kingsley, Iowa to Lee and Hazel (Pierce) Meister. She worked for a number of years as a nurse's aide at the Countryside Nursing facility. Mary enjoyed reading, playing BINGO, and going out for coffee with friends. She loved, and collected figurines of, owls. Mary is survived by her children; son Tim Loutsch and his wife Inoka of Georgia, daughter Veronica Miller of Sioux City, son Michael Loutsch and his fiancé Miranda Peterson of Sioux City, and daughter Shannon Potts and her fiancé Richard Stone of Sioux City; grandchildren Tim Loutsch, Christina Tabor, Marcus Wynn, Melissa Loutsch, Beau Miller, Brooke Kronick, and Melanie Loutsch; and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, spouse Bernie Cole, and brother Elwood Meister.
