Sharon D. Wyant

Sharon D. Wyant, 73 of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at a local care facility after a brief illness. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Sharon was born December 27, 1941 in Washington, PA; she was the daughter of William and Hazel (Moore) Jackson. She graduated from Westfield, IA High School in 1961. Sharon married DeWayne Wyant September 14, 1974 in Elk Point, SD. DeWayne died July 8, 1985. Sharon worked and retired from IBP after 30 years. Survivors include her son: Don Jackson and his wife Julie of Walton, KY; 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband DeWayne, and a brother: William Elmer Jackson, Jr. and a niece Sharee Delfs. Pallbearers will be Don Jackson, Don Jackson, Bob Jackson, Jeff Delfs, Willie Delfs and C. L. Delfs.
