Jason Bryce McInnis

Jason Bryce McInnis, 40, of Hudson, SD passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2015, in the comfort of his home. Jason loved camping at Oak Grove State Park, therefore, Memorial Services with a Celebration of Life, will be Saturday, February 28 from 12 noon - 4:00 p.m. at Oak Grove State Park, 4051 Cherry Ave., Hawarden, Iowa. The family will be present during this time to share your memories and stories of Jason. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City has assisted the family with arrangements. Jason was born July 29, 1974, in Hawarden, to Kerwyn and Pamela (McKee) McInnis. He attended West Sioux Community School. Jason worked several jobs before starting at the Hudson Farmers' Elevator. Jason loved his job but what was forced to retire due to health issues. Jason loved Camaros, camping, fishing, gardening, and his cats. He treasured the time spent with "his little buddy", Ryder, his family, and friends. Jason had a kind and loving heart and will be missed by all who knew him. Jason is survived by his parents, Kerwyn & Pamela McInnis, of Hawarden, his brother Tim McInnis & Michelle Tilstra, of Alcester, and their children Ryder, Chevelle, Leela, Clairese, and James, his paternal grandparents, Bruce McInnis of Hawarden, and Harlene (Don) Weiss of Reno, NV, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clyde & Imogene (Jammerthal) McKee.
