Gayle V. Arch

Gayle V. Arch, 91, of Sioux City went home to be with her Savior and Lord on Monday, February 16, 2015, after an extended stay at Papillion Manor in Papillion, Nebraska. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private family burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Gayle Arch was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on September 4, 1923, to John and Hulda (Holt) Erickson. She graduated from Central High School in 1940. On March 30, 1949, she married Kenneth R. Arch, the love of her life for 59 years. She worked twenty years for the telephone company and was a member of Central Baptist Church, Sioux City. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant son, Jon Steven Arch. She is survived by her two sons and spouses, David (Sue) Arch of Papillion, Nebraska and John (Brenda) Arch of LaVista, Nebraska; six grandchildren Rick Arch, Melissa Ryan, Krystal Daniels, Peggy Casper, Cameron Arch, and Nicholas Arch; and six great-grandchildren Noah Ryan, Logan Arch, Jack Ryan, Wrigley Casper, Aurora Reist, and Brooklyn Arch.
