Bonnie Mae Moline went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 9, 2015. A private family funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorials be sent to Sioux City Gospel Mission or a memorial of your choice. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. She was born October 12, 1924 to Major (Arvin) and Grace Myers, in South Sioux City, NE. She graduated from Central High School in 1942. After high school she worked at Swift Packing Company. In later years she was the office manager for Moline Plumbing Company. Bonnie married Harold Moline on August 14, 1945, in Sioux City, Iowa. They were married for 67 years, lived in the Crescent Park area and raised five children. They were members of Morningside Lutheran Church. Her family has been richly blessed through the years by her many acts of love. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, being a Brownie Scout leader, gardening, sewing, embroidery work and being a part of family events. Through the years she was an encouraging presence at her children and grandchildren's band, dance and piano recitals, plays, football games, choir/bell choir concerts, wrestling matches, marathons and anywhere she was needed. Bonnie is survived by her five children, Nancy (Ron) Bunkers of New Ulm, MN., Janice (Bob) Wesch of Detroit, MI, Joanne (Ivar) Torgrimson of Omaha, NE, Linda (Dan) Mauk of North Platte, NE., and Mark (Mary) Moline of Denver, CO; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Cook of Sioux City, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Moline; infant son, Gary Moline; parents; two brothers, Don Myers and Glen Myers; and one sister, Marian Towns.
