Juanita "Evie" Cullen, 83, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Juanita "Evie" Cullen was born Feb. 13, 1931, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Daniel and Opal Bradshaw. She graduated from Spirit Lake High School with the class of 1948. She married William Cullen in April of 1951, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1997. She was employed with Mercy Medical Center in the cafe. In her free time, she loved to go for walks, taking her grandchildren to the park. While raising her family, she truly enjoyed taking them back to Montgomery, Iowa, where she was raised. and then taking everyone to Arnolds Park Juanita is survived by her children, one son, Kelly and his wife Ginny of Savage, Minn.; one daughter, Linda Anderson and her husband Kevin of Sioux City; two brothers, Paul Bradshaw of Arizona, and Perry Bradshaw and his wife Ruby of Des Moines, Iowa; four sisters, Leona "Audino" Kozisek of Texas, Leota Hamlin of Bonderant, Iowa, Pat and her husband, Ron Sanders of Fort Dodge Iowa, and Sharron Menefee; grandchildren, Conor Cullen, Dawn Anderson, Heather Anderson and Benjamin Anderson; Jake Monell and Kelly Monell; great-grandchildren, Honesty, Ty, Little "J" and Kelly Jr.; Axton and Olivia; Jaycee, Jaylee and Jayeden; and many nieces and nephews across the United States. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one daughter, Rebecca Cullen.
