James Raymond Limoges, 84, of Elk Point, SD passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at a Sioux City Hospital. Per his wishes, his body was cremated and memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk Point, SD. James was born on May 30, 1930 in Elk Point, SD to Raymond and Elma (Pennel) Limoges. He graduated from Elk Point High School. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for over 25 years at Payless Cashway. Jim enjoyed fishing, trapping, playing cards and horseshoes, gardening and raising hogs. He is survived by his son Craig (Janet) Limoges of Elk Point, SD; son Steven Limoges of Sioux City, daughter Brenda Hilton of Minnetonka, MN; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a sister Grace (Pat) Welch of Erie, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers Paul, Leslie, Marvin, Loren and Clarence and a sister Myrtle Hendricks.
