Carey Esther Evans, 61, of Urbandale, IA formerly of Sioux City, Iowa died unexpectedly in Iowa Methodist Hospital on Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in the Logan Park Cemetery. Carey was a born and raised in Sioux City and was a graduate of Central High School. Carey is survived by her sons: Orlando of Maplewood, NJ, Renardo of Des Moines, IA, and A'Dryan of Rock Valley, IA; her two grandchildren: Tical and Nevaeh of Rock Valley, IA; and her long time companion, Lonnie Booker of Urbandale, IA. Carey leaves behind a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
