Patricia Ann Jordan

Patricia Ann Jordan, 72 of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at a local care facility from emphysema. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Sioux City. Rev. David Hemann will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Patricia was born March 5, 1942 in Sioux City; she was the daughter of Joseph and Alma (Noonan) Mahaney. Patricia grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Heelan High School. She married Walter L. Jordan in September of 1965. Patricia lived in San Leandro, CA for several years and worked at Loards Ice Cream and then returned to Sioux City and worked at Jolly Time Popcorn. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter: Carol "Carrie" Garcia and her husband Helder of Salida, CA; her sister: Rosemary Barkley of Merrill, IA; 3 brothers: James Mahaney of Tucson, AZ, Thomas Mahaney and his wife Judy of Sioux City, Dennis Mahaney and his wife Dee of Papillion, NE; a sister in law: Helen Mahaney of Sioux City and several nieces and nephews.. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joseph Mahaney.
