Ann V. Tracy, 89, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, December 03, 2014 at a Sioux City Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Daniel J. Rupp officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Ann was born on December 30, 1924 in Bird Island, MN to Peter and Mary (McLaughlin) Clancy. She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in Bird Island, MN and attended Business College. She started her doctor trained nursing career in Bird Island with Dr. Crosgrove. She was united in marriage to John B. Tracy on June 21, 1957 in Bird Island, MN. They moved to Sioux City and she worked for Dr.'s Tracy and Hirsch for many years. John preceded her in death on December 9, 2004 in Sioux City. In her free time, she enjoyed doing word finds and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed baking cookies muffins and doing yard work. She loved the company of her cat Sister and spending time with her granddaughters and great grandson. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, church choir and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Robert) Seiler; granddaughters Jessica Seiler (special friend Chad Mach); and Anna Seiler; great grandson Blake Riker; brother-in-law Ed Tracy all of Sioux City; and a sister-in-law Noreen Clancy of Bird Island, MN; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Alice, Millie and Maureen and brothers Paul, and Vince, and 5 nieces and nephews Paul, Pat, George, Mary and Anne.
