Vickie Lynn Glessner, 48 of Sioux City passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at a Sioux City hospital after suffering a brain aneurism. Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at The Calvary Lutheran Church Parish Hall. Rev. James Travis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the parish hall. Vickie was born August 28. 1966 in Pierre, SD; she was the daughter of John and JoAnn (Rude) Glessner. Vickie grew up in Pierre and graduated from T.F. Riggs High School and then came to Sioux City and attended Western Iowa Technical School. She worked for Action Moving and Storage for over 20 years. Vickie enjoyed fishing, going to Flee Markets and picking. Survivors include: her daughter: Kelsey Glessner-Brady of Sioux City;, her mother: JoAnn Glessner of Whiting, Iowa; her brother: Hal Glessner and his wife Emma of Pierre, SD; 2 sisters: JoAnn Bourguignon and her husband Brian of San Diego, CA, Connie Solien and her husband Jeff of Sloan, IA and several nieces and nephews. Vickie was preceded in death by her father: John Glessner. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Vickie's name.
