Jack Jolin 76 of Sioux City formally of Sgt Bluff passes away Monday November 17, 2014 in Sioux City. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 22, 2014 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with the Rev. Merill Muller officiating Visitation will be Friday November 21, 2014 from 6 till 8 p.m. with the family present and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. will be held at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel Jon J."Jack" Jolin was born July 19, 1938 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of David and Helen (Dula-Small) Jolin. Jack grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Sioux City Community Schools in 1956 Jack married Carol Slechta September 7th 1958 in Sioux City Iowa into this marriage Four children were born. This year Jack married Kesy Groves on March 13, 2014 in Texas. Jack was known as a "Jack of all trades" working various jobs threw out his career but, the majority of his working years were spent farming. He also owned and operated Jolin Glass, Jacks Pizza in Sergeant Bluff and the first car wash in Sergeant Bluff. When not working he enjoyed many different activities from hunting, fishing, boating and snow mobiling trips, to cars, cards and attending auctions. Jack was also a member of the Izaac League of Sioux City, but most of his joy came from spending time with his family and friends. Jack is survived by his wife Kesy Groves-Jolin of Sioux City; two sons Mark Jolin and his wife Sarah of Hinton, Iowa, Bill Jolin and his wife Cindy of Sioux City; two daughters, Suzanne Stahle and her husband Scott of Sioux City and Monica Jolin of Deltona, Florida; one step son Chip Groves and his wife Brenda of Sioux City; step daughter Monette Harbeck and her husband John of Sioux City; one brother Jim Jolin and his wife Diana of Sioux City; one sister Nancy Bricker of Sioux City; seven grandchildren, Ben, Alec, Avery, Molly, Ella, Nicole, Amber Jolin; four step grandchildren, Brianne and Jeff Felts, Tucker and Jerrica Groves; three great grandchildren, Lincoln Jolin, Brody Felts and Colette Vollmer.
