Kellie J. Sturges

Kellie J. Sturges, 54, of Sioux City passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at a Sioux City Hospital. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November, 19, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial with Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Per her wishes, she will be cremated following the service and burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Kellie was born on October 1, 1960 in Sioux City to Dwayne and Constance "Connie" (Davis) Moritz, Sr. She graduated from West High School. Kellie managed SCK Can Redemption. She was united in marriage to Rick Sturges in 1980 in Sioux City. She enjoyed going on trips with her husband and going gambling. She loved and cherished spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Rick Sturges; mother Connie Minton; son Jeff (April) Sturges; 5 grandchildren Colease, Kayden, Journey, Raelynn, and Bristen Sturges; and a brother Dwayne Moritz all of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her father, step father Henry Minton and her sister Diane Wood.
