Sharon Windle, 62 of Salisbury, MD and formerly of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Salisbury following a brief illness with cancer. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Whitfield United Methodist Church in Sioux City. Rev. Liz Tucker will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Sharon was born March 12, 1952 in Sioux City; she was the daughter of Warren "Dick" and Margaret (Davis) Moore. Sharon grew up in Sioux City and attended Central High School. She married Kirk Windle October 9, 1974 in Elk Point, SD. Sharon was a military wife and her family was the most important part of her life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Kirk of Salisbury, MD, 2 daughters Tabetha Dumler and her husband Michael of Hampstead, MD, Margaret Holland of Salisbury, MD; her father and step mother: Warren "Dick" and Linda Moore of Dakota City, NE; 6 grandchildren: Nicolas, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Makayla, Rebecca and Samuel; step brothers Jason, Darren and Brian Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Margaret, her sister: Susanne Moore and her brother Leroy Moore.
