Linda C. Burrell

Linda C. Burrell, 68 of Sioux City passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Visitation with the family present will be from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Linda was born October 1, 1946 in Sioux City; she was the daughter of Gene and Betty (Bristol) Semple. Linda grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always had a warm place and a hot meal for her family, strangers or anybody who needed it. She is survived by her 6 children: Rochelle Dawdy (Rick Pritchard) of Sioux City, Andrea Real (Eddie) of Sioux City, Earl Mason (Matt Billmeier) of Omaha, NE, Ramona Sanchez (Steve Farley) of Sioux City, Jessica Sanchez of Sioux City, Carmela Sanchez (Henry Aguirre) of Sioux City, her brother: Larry Semple of North Sioux City, SD; her sister: Kathy Harris (Bernie) of North Sioux City, SD; 15 grandchildren Isiah (Trisha), Andrew, Jasman (Everardo), KaVon, Lynda (Jason), DeMitrius, DeAngelo, Joaquin, Brandon (Jackie), Joel (Hailey), DaCarlos, Monique, Sylvia, Marissa and Jisela; 7 great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tom Semple.
