Roland Ernest Bleasdell

Roland Ernest "Crickit" Bleasdell, 77, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at a local hospital. Abiding by his wishes, his body will be cremated and there will be no local services held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Roland was born the youngest of five and only son of Ernest and Orfa (Riordan) Bleasdel on December 31, 1936 in Moville, Iowa. He graduated from Moville High School. Roland worked for Johnson Biscuit/Interbake Foods for 30 years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed visiting with friends at the Court Street Tap. Roland is survived by two children. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Mary Jane, Francis, Carol, and Joanne.
